What is IELTS and why many has to do perform this test?

IELTS stands for International English Language Testing System is designed by the British Council & AEO (Australian Education Expo). those who are citizens of non English Speaking countries and willing to move in  a country where English is the native language has to do IELTS so that they can proof to consulate of particular country about their language proficiency.

IELTS has two types known as Academic IELTS and General IELTS Training both of them consist of four different modules including Speaking, Listening, Reading and Writing.

what is the difference in Academic and General IELTS ?

those students are very keen to upgrade their academics has to appear in IELTS and get minimum 6.5 Band in each module to demonstrate they are competent user of the language, if you do not appear IELTS Exam then it is highly unlikely to secure your admission in any foreign University.

Many people willing to migrant to western countries and others are looking to find a work placement where minimum qualification in under then degree program must take IELTS General Program.  in General every candidate has its own requirement of bands, for example if anyone doing it for immigration purpose then they should to get at least 7.0 band in each module. 

what is IELTS band…?

you can obtain maximum 9 bands and minimum 0, you may get another half band like 0.5 which is often round up your total band in case you overall band lies between 0.1-0.50 or 0.50-1.00
